Begin with the operation
A bespoke room should reflect available space, stock quantities, access frequency, temperature requirements and shelving. A restaurant’s rapid-access needs differ from an application requiring tighter controls or additional security.
Survey before specification
Assess the building and existing infrastructure before choosing dimensions and equipment. Plan how deliveries, staff and stored products move through the space, and allow room for access and servicing.
Build for the longer term
Select materials and equipment around the operating environment and expected use. A well-matched design can avoid wasted space and unnecessary energy demand. Share your constraints with the team so the proposal addresses your actual business needs.
